The demand for electric vehicles (EVs) is growing, and with it, the need for reliable charging infrastructure. At The ESL Group, we’re committed to supporting clean energy solutions and helping communities transition to sustainable transportation. That’s why we’re proud to have partnered with BC Hydro and the College of New Caledonia to deliver Prince George’s first EV fast-charging hub—a major step toward a greener future.

A Game-Changer for EV Drivers in Northern BC
This new fast-charging hub, located at the College of New Caledonia (Highway 97 & 22 Avenue), is designed to reduce range anxiety and make long-distance EV travel more accessible. The site features:
- Two 350-kilowatt chargers – BC Hydro’s highest-powered chargers, delivering up to 100 km of range in just five minutes.
- Six 180-kilowatt chargers – Power-sharing technology allows multiple vehicles to charge efficiently.
- NACS connectors – Expanding compatibility across various EV models.
This hub ensures that EV drivers in Northern BC have access to fast, reliable charging when they need it most.
Leading the Charge in Sustainable Infrastructure
At The ESL Group, we’ve been at the forefront of EV charger installations across British Columbia, working on projects for Prince George Ford, Island Ford in Duncan, the City of Colwood, and BC Hydro sites across Northern BC. As businesses and municipalities continue adopting clean energy solutions, we’re here to provide expert electrical services that power a more sustainable future.
